The Depot Smokehouse & Tavern started life in 1907 as the Alexandria’s Great Northern Railway Depot. The Depot has be carefully preserved to this day and is designated a National Historical Site.

The Depot Smokehouse & Tavern has been serving you for decades! And is still going strong! In April 2022, a slight change in name, different ownership, and different focus has resulted in enhancements to menu and updated restaurant décor and look!

Our classic diverse menu features delicious Depot Smokehouse & Tavern brick oven pizza (voted the best in Douglas County), great burgers of all types, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, and many other signature entrees! Plus A KIDS MENU!!

We've enhanced our menu offerings, too, with a variety of smoked meat entrees and appetizers!

Midweek Wing Night is Wednesday starting at 4pm until gone!  3 lbs of mouthwatering wings and a pitcher for only $20! Choose from twenty unique sauces or dry rubs!
